The main characters are likeable and unique. It is nice to read a historical romance where a couple's intellect and wit are valued over their "unparalleled beauty". All in all, it is a decent novel.

I have read hundreds of romance novels for years and this book is just terrible! The author takes u through pages and pages of unnecessary scenes to get to the point! The hero and heroin have discussed the exact same topic on 20 different locations. There's no depth, no emotion, nothing romantic happening. Save your money and time!!

I liked the story. The characters were great. Sometimes I felt as though things could have been made simpler or something. I would definitely recommend reading it though.

I was bored. Skipped quite a few chapters. Slow and no excitement to the story. Disappointed to say the least. Don’t know if I will read the rest of the series.

I loved the antics in this book. I won’t give anything away but how pippa handled knight was ingenious. I will be reading the next book in the series

I liked the love story part but felt other parts of the story did get their proper endings!

The hero's control is always "on it's very last thread", but he never topples over the edge. You'll hear that phrase at least 3 or 4 times before anything significant happens. The main characters are likeable and unique. It is nice to read a historical romance where a couple's intellect and wit are valued over their "unparalleled beauty". All in all, it is a decent novel.

I have read hundreds of romance novels for years and this book is just terrible! The author takes u through pages and pages of unnecessary scenes to get to the point! The hero and heroin have discussed the exact same topic on 20 different locations. There's no depth, no emotion, nothing romantic happening. Save your money and time!!
